The DA is elated with the victory at the Ward 4 by-election in Prince Albert. This municipality becomes the first municipality in the Central Karoo that the Democratic Alliance governs outright.

This victory is a clear indication of the trust rural voters have in the DA.

It marks a turning point, not only for the Prince Albert Municipality, but also for the rest of the Central Karoo.

The DA has a proven track record of clean governance and excellent service delivery where we govern, and Prince Albert will be a shining example of what the DA can bring to the rest of the Central Karoo.

The results of today’s by-election are as follows:

DA – 50.60% – 1053 VOTES (2021 – 30.15% – 533 votes. 2019 – 59.07% – 899 votes)
